A gift from Waller. His name is King Shark and he's been a pain in the ass to keep contained. We always try to make our inmates at least slightly comfortable, but the second we gave this guy a bit of water, he ate five of our guards. Talk about ungrateful.
No water. In this shipment we've included heat lamps that seem to work their magic in keeping him dried out. He's apparently immortal, so don't worry too much about it.As Waller said: he's your pet shark now. Don't come running to us.
From what we understand, King Shark (Nanaue) was born in Waipi'o Valley, Hawai'i from a woman named Kalei (no last name known) and Kamohoali'i, who we came to know from local folklore and legends. Turns out he is the God of Sharks, or so we are led to believe, and this in turn makes Nanaue the King of Sharks. We are not yet sure of what this title means exactly, but we have watched him communicate with true sharks and respond to different types of sounds, both above and below the water.
He is very responsive to humpback whale singing as well as things breaching the water's surface.
He had made name for himself long before we came across Nanaue. When we found him, he was being worshiped as the son and extension of Kamohoali'i. The one to get in touch with if you need something.
At the same time he had been hiring himself out online. Not like an assassin or a mercenary, but as a biter-for-hire. His track record of victims willingly offering themselves up and paying him to eat them is too long to include, and too many unknown victims as well. All his business seems to have been done on the dark web, and even for us that is a difficult medium to navigate.
Basics
Nanaue is a canon character from Detective Comics (DC). He is based mostly on his canon story before the New 52, somewhat on Hawaiian legends and a lot of headcanons.
I am unfortunately not very familiar with DC comics overall (Marvel got me first) so feel free to help me with details if you deem it necessary.

I love ships. Absolutely adore them. However, I also love interactions that do not focus on this subject so please never feel pressured.
I ship King/Constantine but it is NOT in my adopted canon and any and all mentions by people NOT involved will be considered godmodding and thus will be ignored and/or dismissed.
At this time I have no NOTPs for him.
Nanaue may be a half-god, but he still has human thoughts and desires. He is very receptive to positive stimulation.
I am very comfortable writing smut, but it’s not a requirement. Due to Nanaue's nature this will need extensive plotting and discussion.
Images & explicit posts of a NSFW nature will be tagged with ‘usfw’. Threads of this nature will go under a read more.
Nanaue can be somewhat erratic in his attitude, but negative attention will always get negative results.
